Madison, Wis. - Tri-North Builders, a general
contractor headquartered in Madison, Wis., with additional office in Milwaukee
and Dallas, has announced the addition of five new staff members.
Steve Bachofen has been hired as director of safety.
He is responsible for overseeing Tri-North's National Safety Program as well as
the safety of individual job sites.
Mike Plunkett is working for Tri-North Builders as a
project manager. He manages projects in the firm's Retail Division.
Holly Schweitzer is a project manager with Tri-North
Builders. Schweitzer manages a diversity of projects in the Commercial
Division.
Jim Dallas has been hired as a general superintendent,
and is responsible for overseeing national field superintendents, primarily in
the Retail Division.
Jesse McKnight is working for Tri-North as a project
engineer. McKnight works closely with project managers to supervise and direct
the administrative and technical aspects of projects in the Commercial
Division.
Delafield, Wis. - Yaggy Colby Associates has announced
the addition of Sean Race as an engineer-in-training.
Race brings a broad range of experience in municipal
utilities, from initial design to installation inspection. He also has
experience with various types of construction inspection and materials testing.
New Berlin, Wis. - Joe Widmann has joined Titan
Building Company as the full-service general contracting firm's president.
Widmann's responsibilities include estimating, project
management and contributions toward business development for the firm. He has
23 years of construction experience with general contracting and construction
management firms in Southeastern Wisconsin.
Titan Building Company also announced that Dave Petrie
will maintain his role of vice president.
Petrie's primary responsibility is related to field
operations, and he will have a role in estimating, project management and
business development as well.
Brookfield, Wis. - R.A. Smith & Associates, Inc.
has expanded its geographic information systems (GIS) division with the
addition of Brian Dubis as GIS project manager.
Dubis is providing GIS services throughout the state
of Wisconsin and northern Illinois. His primary responsibility is directing and
managing many types of GIS and public safety projects.
Madison, Wis. - The engineering and architectural consulting
firm of Mead & Hunt has added two new staff members.
Sandra Blight is Mead & Hunt's newest marketing
and communication coordinator. Blight is responsible for the development of
proposals, as well as marketing and business development. Blight has nearly 15
years of marketing experience.
Michael Flatt , PE, SE, has joined the firm as a
senior project engineer for the Aviation Architecture Group. Flatt is
responsible for the design of structural building systems, developing related
construction documents, and construction administration. He has 10 years of
experience.
Madison, Wis. - Strang, Inc. announced that Dirk von
Below has joined the firm as an architect.
Von Below brings over 15 years of international
architectural design and project management experience to the job.
Milwaukee - Thomas B. Olejniczak , PE, has joined
Harwood Engineering Consultants, Ltd. as director of civil engineering.
Olejniczak's responsibilities include design, quality
control and business development for this new civil service offered by Harwood
Engineering.
